Doctor Who season 4 begins this friday on SciFi Channel at 8:30 PM. Even if you haven't been keeping up with the past 40+ years of Doctor Who, you should watch and give the show a try. Yes, it's intentionally "campy", but at least the special effects have gotten better and the show is fun.

The show has also generated two spin off shows:

Torchwood follows the adventures of Captain Jack Harkness and his team of operatives who defend the earth from threats from beyond our solar system. It runs on BBC America Saturdays at 9:00 PM.

Sara Jane Adventures is a new show, and runs fridays at 7:30 PM on SciFi. It follows the adventures of Sara Jane Smith, a travelling companion of the third and fourth incarnations of Doctor Who. The original actress reprises her role.
