Picnic with the NoVa ST Cluster

It's a cookout! I have reserved shelter number 6 at Bull Run Regional Park off of US 29. Since we have a shelter, the picnic will happen rain or shine. Pay attention to the details in this message - they're important!

Our reservation is from 3:30 to Sunset. Why then? I reserved a half day and chose the second half so you can run your errands, attend kids' events, then come out and relax. The shelter seats 50, so it will accommodate all of us from all three groups. Feel free to bring friends! I'll monitor the number from the other groups and add them as my guests.

The park charges $7 for cars not residing in the county, but entrance is free for Fairfax County cars. Arrive at Tom's house (14405 Brookmere Drive, Centreville, VA) between 2:30 and 3 PM. We will leave at 3 PM to carpool into the park. Fairfax County residents should plan on driving, out-of-county folks should ride with them. Of course, if you really want to drive yourself there directly, feel free.

We will use the message board to coordinate who brings what. I'll post a list of things we need. The first one to reply on the board and claim an item should bring that item. If all items are claimed, feel free to bring something else of your choice. However, the park authority forbids bringing alcohol into the park so don't bring any.

We are going to get a new group photo for our web site while at the picnic, so be prepared for that.
