James Broderick, author of THE LITERARY GALAXY OF STAR TREK, will speak at the meeting of the Science Fiction Association of Bergen County, New Jersey, at 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 10. 2008.
The book is an examination of mainstream literary themes like alienation and identity and how they manifest themselves in the STAR TREK universe. Mr Broderick teaches Journalism at New Jersey City University in Jersey City, New Jersey. He has also written PAGING NEW JERSEY: A LITERARY GUIDE TO THE GARDEN STATE and CONSIDER THE SOURCE: A CRITICAL GUIDE TO PROMINENT NEWS AND INFORMATION SITES ON THE WEB (with co-author Darren Miller).
